What is the iOS 6?
The iOS is Apple's mobile operating system, and the iOS 6 is their latest installment.

Stay closer with friends. Using the new Shared Photo Streams, simply select photos from the Photos app, tap the Share button, choose who you want to share your photos with, and they're on their way. Facebook is easier to access and you don't need to leave your app to do it. Remember when people used the phone for talking? Even talking with your friends has gotten better. When you decline an incoming call, you can instantly reply with a text message or set a callback reminder, or turn on Do Not Disturb if you are busy. Want to know where your friends are? Find My Friends allows those who share their locations with you to appear on a map so you can quickly see where they are and what they're up to.
The best things about iPhone’s browsing just got better. Siri is now multilingual, speaking in Spanish, Italian, Korean, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Facetime** works over Wi-Fi and Safari has been upgraded for smoother browsing. The iOS 6 features Lost mode for the iPhone-iOS 6 and iCloud that makes it even easier to use Find My iPhone to locate and protect a missing device. Immediately lock your missing iPhone with a four-digit passcode and send it a message displaying a contact number.

iTunes 10.7 is required to download and support iOS6. iTunes 10.7 was released on 9/12/2012 and must be upgraded at www.apple.com/itunes/download, customers should download iTunes 10.7 to their computer, then sync their iPhone to that computer in order to download iOS 6.
