The new iPhone 5s and 5c are now available from AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint. Here are three reasons why you should buy your new iPhone 5s and 5c -- or any wireless device -- from AT&T:

  1. 15% union member AT&T discount. Union members save 15% off the regular monthly rate on select wireless plans with the Union Plus AT&T discount. Visit UnionPlus.org/ATT to save.
  2. AT&T is the only unionized wireless carrier. By using AT&T, you’ll support some 45,000 members of the Communications Workers of America who work as AT&T technicians, customer service representatives and retail store personnel. Verizon Wireless and Sprint are non-union.
  3. Up to $200 in smartphone rebates for Union Plus Credit Card holders. Use a Union Plus Credit Card to buy the new iPhone 5s or 5c -- or any new smartphone -- and a qualifying data plan and be eligible for a $100 rebate. If you use a non-union carrier like Verizon Wireless or Sprint, the Go Union Rebate provides $100 when you switch to all-union AT&T. Apply for the Union Plus Credit Card at UnionPlusCard.com.

The iPhone 5s has new features, including a Touch ID fingerprint identity sensor, an improved camera and flash, and a 64-bit A7 chip. The iPhone 5c includes an 8MP camera and is available in a variety of new colors, including green, blue, yellow, pink and white. The iPhone 5s costs $199 for the 16GB model, $299 for the 32GB model and $399 for the 64GB model, while the iPhone 5c costs $99 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model -- all with a new two-year contract.

For union members, AT&T is the clear choice for wireless service.
