Help for Union Plus Mortgage Holders

The Union Plus Mortgage Assistance Program has provided more than $4 million to help working families whose income was reduced due to unemployment, disability, strike or lockout make their mortgage payments and keep their homes.

There are two unique benefits to help members with a Union Plus Mortgage who are facing financial hardship:

  1. Mortgage Strike Assistance pays for six months of mortgage payments for members who are on strike for more than 30 days.
  2. Mortgage Assistance Loans provide interest-free loans for up to six months to help members cover their mortgage payments. Plus, $1,000 of the loan does not have to be repaid.
