Health Savings Physician & Hospital Discounts Program - $179.95 per year (OR) $17.95 per month
The Physician & Hospital Discounts program can help union members offset the high cost of healthcare by reducing out-of-pocket medical costs.
In addition to discounts on prescriptions, dental care and vision care, the Physician & Hospital Discounts program adds discounts with a large network of participating doctors, ancillary providers (labs, X-rays, MRIs and more), and hospitals. (See details below.)
The Physician & Hospital Discounts program might be best for union members who have:
- No health insurance.
- Health insurance coverage with large out of pocket expenses without access to a preferred provider network.
- Family household members without access to the member's insurance coverage.
- Are temporarily without health insurance-students who can no longer get coverage under their parent's, retirees not yet ready for Medicare (under age 65).
- Health insurance coverage, but are looking for discounts for an uncovered or elective procedure.

How does it work?
- Join one of the following Union Plus Health Savings programs.
- After you join a program, you'll receive a Union Plus Health Savings card.
- Search for a provider in your area and make an appointment.
Note: the Physician & Hospital Discounts program offers a special feature for physician and hospital discounts. For these discounts, first call a program rep who will pre-certify that a provider is in network and accepting new patients. The rep will also confirm a provider is aware of how the program works, verify the discount will be honored at time of service, and will even schedule an appointment.
- Show your Union Plus Health Savings card at your doctor's appointment, pharmacy or dentist visit.
- Receive instant savings with the Union Plus Health Savings reduced fees. Note that union members are billed at the program's discounted rates and are required to pay participating providers at the time of service.

This program is for United States residents and not available in Canada and Guam. The Union Plus Health Savings Physician & Hospital Discounts program is not available in Montana and Vermont.
