BENEFITS LINKS
Financial Hardship Assistance
Thousands of union members have benefited from the Union Plus services that help provide protection for working families when they need it most – including a free credit counseling session, Save My Home Hotline, free legal service consultations, a retirement planning site and much more.
No Union in Union Workers Credit Services
Union members continue to receive solicitations that give the impression of offering a credit card from Union Workers Credit Services, which has no official ties to any union or union affiliated organization and does not offer a credit card.
Instead, consumers get a paper card that can only be used to make purchases from a catalog for a $37 annual fee.
The Fort Worth Better Business Bureau has logged hundreds of complaints and thousands of inquiries about the Dallas, TX-based Union Workers Credit Services.
Consumers should use caution when considering any credit card offer that requires you to pay a fee before you can learn all the details of the offer.
The Union Plus Credit Card is the only union-endorsed credit card.
ID Theft
The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) estimates that as many as 9 million Americans have their identities stolen each year.
Find out what you should and shouldn't do in order to protect yourself from identity theft.
