There is power in numbers!  With the recent attacks against public-sector union workers, Union Plus is standing in solidarity with workers - and we're happy to say that with the help of working families across the country, we met our goal and donated $100,000 to the America Votes State Battles Fund.

Union families helped us in a few different ways:

  1. Joining the Union Plus Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/UnionPlus.  We donated money for every new fan we got -- and over 3,000 of you joined the Union Plus Facebook page in 3 weeks!  Thanks!
  2. Donating to the America Votes State Battles Fund.  We matched donations for a total of over $1,000.
  3. Tweeting using the hashtag: #UnionPlus and including @UnionPlus. Many of you tweeted with #UnionPlus and we encourage you to continue doing so!  Join our Twitter page at www.Twitter.com/UnionPlus.

Union Plus supports the rights of workers to organize and collectively bargain for fair wages, a safe work environment, and to have a strong voice in the workplace - and we're proud to back up our stance with the $100,000 donation to the America Votes State Battles Fund. The money will go toward opposing state legislation, ballot measures, and executive orders that attack the labor movement.

But - if you are a Union Plus Credit Cardholder, you could be eligible for additional discounts.

    Help if you don’t know your union

    Your union membership dictates which Union Plus benefits you are eligible to use.

    1. What your national union’s name (not just your local number)? Scroll through the list we have to see if you recognize your union.
    2. What type of work do you do (select your occupation)?
    3. Do you have a union member card or union publication/letter that shows the name of your union? Find something with the name of your union, not just a local number.
    4. Is there a shop steward or work colleague you can ask what the name of your union is? You can even ask your human resources department to tell you the full name of your union?
    5. Do you have a Union Plus Credit Card? If so, the name and logo for your international union should appear on the front of the card.
