Union-Made Valentine's Day Sweets

When you're searching for something sweet for that special person for Valentine's Day, why not buy union-made-in-America treats for them.
Here's a brief list of choices of candy products made by members of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union (BCTGM); snack foods by members of the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW); or fruit and nuts from members of the United Farm Workers of America (UFW).
As with a lot of traditionally union-made products, more are being cross-produced (union-non-union; US-Mexico), so be sure to read labels to ensure that your candy is union-made in the United States. If you know of any union-made candy missing from this list, please leave a comment below and we will add it!
And don't forget to save 20% on flowers for Valentine's Day with your Union Plus discount!

These lists are really helpful; you can head to the store and know which brands to look for rather than have to look at each product to see if it's Union.

Hey this is great material....believe it or not Hawaiian Punch is coming out of Mexico and Mott's, supposedly "hand picked" is coming out of China among other very foreign other countries. So let's stand up and support the people that live, work and love America~ the UNION worker !!!

When looking at Hershey's Chocolate just remember Hershey's subsidiary Reese's (Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Reese's Pieces, etc.) is non-union.

Love this list - love these candies. Posted it on my facebook page. Would love to see you post a similar list of other products in each newsletter & email. I spent over an hour trying to find out which dog foods/rawhide bones/treats union-made in America & I'm sure cat owners would like similar information, especially given the horrible things we hear about foreign-made animal products.

I always buy union made products when they are available, but for some products it is very difficult to get the information. Thanks for posting the information. I'm particularly glad that some of my favorites are listed here.
