Union Plus Benefits and Your Union Questions
The information and examples below explain how Union Privilege can help and where you should turn for other union-related information.
How Union Privilege can help
Union Privilege — the organization that provides the Union Plus consumer benefits — is not a union office. We are happy to assist union members with their questions related to the Union Plus benefits, but we are not authorized to assist with other union-related issues such as dues payments, grievances or questions about pensions.
First, if you have a question about a Union Plus benefit, please contact the Union Plus program provider.
We realize that sometimes you may need additional help with a concern related to your Union Plus benefits. The Union Plus Member Advocacy Program, staffed by OPEIU Local 2 union members, is here to help you resolve Union Plus program-related problems. Contact us at 1-800-472-2005 (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET, weekdays) or complete the Union Plus Feedback Form. If possible, please have the name or employee ID number for the Union Plus benefits provider staff member you spoke to.

Union Dues
Union Privilege only manages the consumer Union Plus benefits and does not manage any other union-related issues.
Union Privilege is not a union office so we cannot assist with any questions about union dues or other union administration questions. You should directly contact your local or national union representative for union dues questions.

NOTE: If you'd like basic consumer education information about retirement, please visit the UnionPlusRetirement.org site.
Health Insurance
Union Privilege does not offer health insurance to union members.
Often, health insurance benefits are negotiated by a union and offered through your union contract. Check with your human resources department, health benefits provider or contact your union representative if you have questions about your health insurance or coverage.
NOTE: Union Privilege does offer the Union Plus Health Savings program to help union members cut their out-of-pocket costs for dental care, vision care, prescription drugs and more. Learn more about the Union Plus Health Savings program here.
