Make a Plan to Vote

Voting is an important part of any functioning democracy. The AFL-CIO created an easy-to-use tool to help you get to the polls, the Make a Plan to Vote tool helps you to get all of the information you need to vote.

The 2018 Midterm Elections are soon approaching, which means it's time to make a plan to vote. In some states, voters must register to vote prior to the election, so make sure you know when the deadline to register to vote is in your state.

Voters who are unable to vote in person are also able to submit absentee ballots by mail. Many states allow voters to vote before election day during a specified period.

The Make a Plan to Vote tool by the AFL-CIO allows voters to locate their polling location based on their address, figure out if they are able to vote early, and schedule a reminder to vote.
